Interrupted Life: Incarcerated Mothers in the United States

Prison Lullabies is being shown on January 27, 2010 as part of an exhibition entitled Interrupted Life: Incarcerated Mothers in the United States is an exhibition of eight linked installations which deal with the facts and experiences of incareration for mothers and their families in the United States. Interrupted Lifeinvites viewers to become educated, active community members, searching for information and solutions to this major and growing problem in our society. The show aims to be both a vibrant visual presentation and a pedagogical intervention, stimulating new perspectives and learning opportunities.
